    Fair enough but......

Lack of parking, no cooperation from staff re on-street parking. Late duty no night drink available at end of duty, "bar closed sir" attitude from staff.

    Very good

I thought the reception staff were very helpful

I found some of the bar staff unhelpful and even lazy. When requesting some tea on one of the nights i was told that there was no tea available.when i went to reception the receptionist rang bar and tea was made.the bar was quiet at time.As a person who travels a lot i found this poor service re bar

    Superb

Loved this hotel. Very modern , nice ambiance , very comfortable beds and excellent location for Belfast city break. The free Spa and Leisure centre is an extra bonus . Lovely buffet breakfast too. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately they do not have parking and you must pay to park in a multi -storey a few blocks away but if you arrive by bus/train the hotel is only 5 mins away from main station.

    Very good

I Liked the fact the Hotel was not too close and not too far from the shopping centre and the main square.

The only thing i didnt like was the quality of food been served during evening meal.

    Fabulous

Very good breakfast. It is in a strategic position in the very center of Belfast. Nice and clean the relax area (pool, jacuzzi, turkish bath)

the staff was not very friendly, they speak fast and with a strange accent, difficult to be understood. The internet costs a lot 3£ / 1 h.

I had booked for a non smoking room and was allocated a smoking room. Minor point but it was still an oversight on the hotels part.

On arrival, reception had no knowledge of our booking, therefore the twin room initially booked was unavailable. A double was supplied, an anxious 10 minutes while our fate re accommodation was decided by the staff. Dissapointing result to the start of a city break. My confidence in utilising Bookings.com in the future is no longer there, I will book direct from now on.

The bathroom is in serious need of maintenance. Black mould exists along all the seals and various parts of the grouting.

Rooms are quite and it’s close to the city centre!

. Observations: Breakfast is very limited even with so much unilateral choice. The bread is really not good! Rooms: You couldn’t close the door from the inside. One day the towels weren’t clean! The publicity at Booked.net is not true to the reality. It’s really a misleading advertising! There are no flat LCD screens. Luc Vansina

Great modern hotel in the Heart of Belfast... Walking distance to all major attractions.

The front desk staff could have been a bit friendlier.

It was way over priced at 180 pounds !! also I do not like baths with showers attached in rooms would much prefer a straight shower

Excellent location and very clean and comfortable rooms

    Superb

The reception staff and waiting staff were well presented, looked tidy and clean. They were polite and efficient yet not sycophantic or grovelling. I felt like a valued guest and they tried hard to accommodate my needs, even things that were not routine were met with "let me see how I can solve that for you" which was very welcome. The location is easy to get to the city and its transport hubs. The room was very clean and comfortable. I did miss not having a fridge though and really in the 21st century, all rooms should have a safe! The trouser press was useful but not working sadly. The wireless was fast and good signal.

I ate in the restaurant - the breakfasts were fine, but the food did get a little cold. Also trying to order a fried egg or some porridge was not easy and required a hunt to find someone who could do it! The breakfast was properly cooked, not greasy and tasty. However I used the restaurant in the evenings and despite an exciting looking menu, was disappointed on more than one occasion. My lamb chops were not consistently cooked - out of 3 chops, one was effectively raw and cold. Also the accompanying roasted vegetables were soggy. On another night, the steak was burnt along one edge giving it a seared taste. On both occasions, I pointed this out. No alternative/replacement was offered, only an apology. Also the seafood chowder had large lumps of undercooked potato. Finally, I arrived back at the hotel one evening to find another bed had been put in the double room. I was already a single traveller in a double room, so now had a choice of three beds! It was dealt with swiftly by reception fortunately.
